Conflict of Interest
The Brazilian Journal of Dentistry and Oral Radiology (BJDOR) requires authors, reviewers, and editors to disclose any conflicts of interest that could directly or indirectly influence the content of a manuscript or its evaluation.
A conflict of interest refers to any situation that may affect scientific impartiality or be perceived as a potential source of bias, including, but not limited to:
-
financial relationships such as employment, consultancy roles, equity interests, honoraria, funding, grants, or patents;
-
personal, academic, or institutional relationships that could interfere with objective judgment;
-
any other circumstance that may influence, or appear to influence, the conduct, analysis, or assessment of the work.
All disclosures must be provided at the time of manuscript submission or upon accepting a review invitation. The journal handles these declarations transparently and takes appropriate steps to ensure that conflicts do not compromise the integrity of the editorial or peer-review process.
